Got an awesome birds-eye-view of the town of Tamale for the film! Check out some of these great pictures by Rodney Green of Derick scaling a 50ft unused billboard to get shots of the town.
The team flew into the town of Tamale in north central Ghana this morning and spent the morning finalizing plans and construction details with the World Vision Ghana WASH (Water, Sanitation, Hygiene) staff before heading out to meet with a local metal working artisan. The man builds the handicap accessibility components of the latrines and water pumps that World Vision installs in communities across multiple West African nations. We spent the rest of the evening on a walk through Tamale, getting some great shots for the film, and enjoying yet another meal of rice and chicken. We’ll be spending the rest of the week here in Tamale, traveling out to a smaller village to film the construction of modified pumps and latrines and speak with the disabled people who benefit from the work of Messiah College and World Vision. You can see some pictures of our activites from the day below.
